The Uniarts Hub pre-incubator programme gives you a basic understanding of entrepreneurship in the cultural and arts sector. Uniarts Helsinki’s first pre-incubator programme covers the following themes:

The application period for Uniarts Hub in Fall 2026 is 4.8.-20.8.2026. The applicant will submit a downloadable link to a pdf file with the application, answering the following questions:

Who will participate: you as an individual or a team? Describe yourself and/or your team: what is your background in arts and creative industries (educational, professional, hobby background) and what kind of skills and interests do you have?
Your previous connections with Uniarts Helsinki. Describe in more detail if needed.
What is your business idea? Describe it on a general level. Tell us what your future company would be doing. Try to be as informative as possible.
What do you think it will take to realise your business plan? Describe what you need to do to get your company up and running.
What problems or gaps does your idea solve? What kind of impact do you want to have in the arts-related business environment or in the world by starting your business?
The programme will take approximately 3 months. To make the most of it, we wish that you are committed to participating in different sections of the programme: weekly meetings on site in Helsinki, online lectures, mentoring meetings (2-3 in total) and homework. Please describe your ability to attend. Describe in more detail if needed.
