Uniarts Hub, Fall 2026

A student who has completed the course:

• is familiar with the specific characteristics and the business environment of entrepreneurship and business in the cultural and artistic sector
• identifies the potential of their own skills when becoming an entrepreneur
• has acquired skills in the different areas of entrepreneurship in the cultural and artistic sector
• have the skills to take forward their own business ideas and to prepare for setting up a business

The application period for Uniarts Hub in Fall 2026 is 4.8.-20.8.2026. The applicant will submit a downloadable link to a pdf file with the application, answering the following questions:

Web page, relevant social media account
Who will participate: you as an individual or a team? Describe yourself and/or your team: what is your background in arts and creative industries (educational, professional, hobby background) and what kind of skills and interests do you have?
Your previous connections with Uniarts Helsinki. Describe in more detail if needed.
What is your business idea? Describe it on a general level. Tell us what your future company would be doing. Try to be as informative as possible.
What do you think it will take to realise your business plan? Describe what you need to do to get your company up and running.
What problems or gaps does your idea solve? What kind of impact do you want to have in the arts-related business environment or in the world by starting your business?
The programme will take approximately 3 months. To make the most of it, we wish that you are committed to participating in different sections of the programme: weekly meetings on site in Helsinki, online lectures, mentoring meetings (2-3 in total) and homework. Please describe your ability to attend. Describe in more detail if needed.
Finally, what are your expectations for the programme and what do you want to achieve by participating? Describe your future targets. Do not hesitate to dream and aim high!
