Are you trying to find a field that feels right for you, maybe during a gap year, or are you wanting to expand your skill set? The Open University at Uniarts Helsinki offers studies ranging from music education and printmaking to acting and entrepreneurship in the creative fields. The Open University gives a unique chance to see what university studies are like and to find your own voice. The studies follow the normal degree requirements of our university. In addition to courses offered by the Open University, we also provide teaching integrated into degree programmes, where you study alongside degree students. Uniarts Helsinki’s fields of study are music, fine arts, performing arts and writing. The university was founded in 2013 when the Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy and Theatre Academy merged.
