After completing the course, students will be able to:
• plan and manage a self-directed independent project or series of works based on a chosen topic;
• demonstrate the capacity to evaluate their own work and the work of their peers;
• implement the technology and techniques necessary for carrying out their work;
• understand many of the curatorial, practical, and technical issues specific to sound-related exhibits and sound as a medium;
• conduct their own self-directed research in preparation for a project.
