This course introduces the key principles and current challenges of modern service business development. The course examines how companies design, manage, and develop service-based business in changing markets and competitive environments. Key topics include industrial product-service offerings, service blueprinting, pricing, service delivery, and customer involvement in service development.

The course combines research-based knowledge with practical business perspectives. You will become familiar with analytical tools and approaches used in service business development and learn how companies create customer value and competitive advantage through services. The course also addresses contemporary themes such as sustainability, ethics, digitalization, and customer-oriented innovation.

Although the course is completed independently online, it has a strong practical orientation. Real-life examples and business cases help you connect theoretical concepts with practical business development challenges.
