The course covers basic data analytics with an emphasis on the concepts most relevant to accounting and finance. It aims to acquaint students with relevant data sources and introduce Python programming language for data analytics. Furthermore, it introduces how generative AI can be efficiently utilized in data science and programming.
Contents include:
- Collecting and processing datasets
- Data manipulations
- Data visualisations
- Introduction to machine learning
- Introduction to text mining and natural language processing
