International Financial Reporting

Basic course in accounting, knowledge of the main forms of financial statements. Bachelor-level knowledge of accounting and finance.

By the end of the course students will achieve the following intended learning outcomes:

• Students will demonstrate knowledge of application of IFRS to prepare financial statements
• Students will demonstrate problem solving skills while applying IFRS to different tasks
• Students will demonstrate critical thinking skills while assessing the key features of IFRS from the perspective of the preparer and the user of accounting information
• Students will demonstrate understanding of social responsibility and ethics in accounting

• IAS/IFRS standards.
• Other material provided by the lecturer.

Right to participate:
Master´s Degree students in Accounting and Auditing, Finance or Business Law. Exchange students with a comparable background knowledge. Priority will be given to Master’s Degree students in Accounting and Auditing.

Basic knowledge of accounting and financial statements is required.
