Corporate Responsibility and Ethics in Finance

Bachelor’s degree

The course provides an overview of topical themes related to ethics in finance and corporate social responsibility (CSR). The main objective of the course is to enhance students’ awareness of how corporate responsibility and ethics impact the key business processes and strategies of firms. Tools for identifying ethical issues will be introduced and evaluated. Students will define dimensions of corporate social responsibility in a wide variety of areas related to corporate finance and financial markets. Furthermore, students will critically assess CSR dimensions and address them in decision making. Students will demonstrate written skills while performing a group assignment during the course Finally, students will demonstrate oral skills while preparing and making a presentation of a group assignment.
