Water Pollution and Treatment

This course is designed to provide students basic information of water scarcity together with possible challenges and solutions related to it.

This course will cover the following topics:

• Global water resources

• Pollutants in wastewaters, including nutrients, metals, emerging pollutants

• Legislation related with purification of wastewater

• Purification techniques for different types of wastewaters, including conventional and advanced techniques

Company cooperation

The course includes a guest lecture by an environmental authority concerning environmental protection legislation and procedures.

Use of AI applications

The use of AI tools is prohibited with Moodle quizzes. The group work report must be written without AI tools, but it AI tools can be used for language checking.
