Advanced English: Business Communication (CEFR B2)

Prerequisites

Starting level CEFR B2(Öppnas i en ny flik).

The intention is that students improve their academic and professional English to include one or more of the following:

• understand, interpret and critically assess speech and writing
• discuss and present fluently and confidently
• write clearly and appropriately
• become more autonomous and take responsibility for their learning process to promote continuous learning.

Materials provided by both the teacher and the students will be used during the course.

Completion methods

Assessment practices and criteria

Assessment is based on the learning outcomes. Passing the course requires active participation and completion of the agreed tasks by the deadline.

The course uses peer, self- and/or teacher evaluation.

Target groups

A compulsory course requirement for students of forest economics and marketing in the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry. For all other students an optional requirement.

This course may be offered as an Open University course.
