Fördjupade studier

The course content consists of three parts: In the first part, student learns about the global environmental challenges, principles of sustainability, as well as on the concept of circular economy. In the second part, student learns about leadership of change and societal transitions. In the third part, student reflects his/her personal growth and learns about the education and competences of sustainability, as well as different thinking tools and methods for the practice of sustainability.

Completion methods

Leadership for sustainable change is an online course on sustainability and change leadership. The course is taught in collaboration with University of Helsinki and Tampere University. Student studies the online learning material, including text, video and assignments, at the MOOC platform. In an online study group, student makes a project work, in which a sustainability change project plan is designed. Target groups

The course is aimed at master’s level, but is open for students of all levels and fields. The course is also available via Open University.

The course is part of Sustainability Studies Network(Öppnas i en ny flik). The maximum number of students accepted through the network is 100. Network students will be selected in the order of registration.
