Strategic People Management

Recommended prerequisites: No prerequisites. Basic knowledge in People (HR) Management and Strategic Management strongly recommended.

Upon completion of the course, students should:

• understand the core elements of strategic people management
• understand how people management can contribute to value creation in all types of organizations
• understand the linkages between dynamic, environmental factors and effective people management practices in a global as well as local contexts
• know and be able to apply relevant theories and frameworks within people management
• understand key ethical issues in people management
• have the aptitude and skills to design effective, ethical and sustainable people management processes in international organizatons
