Web Content Accessibility

Lectures and exercises on the concept of accessibility of online content, interaction between humans and computers from the perspective of accessibility, and the international classification of functional ability, functional limitations and health (ICF). In addition, the Study Course deals with accessibility obligations laid down in law (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG), accessibility heuristics, plain language and the impact of accessibility. In the final work, the principles learned in the course are applied in making a small-scale accessibility assessment.
This is a Master’s level advanced course that requires applicable higher education studies in the field. Please also check prerequisites.
