Advanced Auditing

Knowledge equivalent to the bachelor's level in accounting, financial statements, and auditing.

After completing the course:

• Students can apply the recommendations of key auditing regulatory bodies in audit work. Students can apply previously learned knowledge of financial reporting and financial law to assess the reliability of financial information produced by the company and/or internal control.
• Students can report the results of audit work and demonstrate an understanding of the judgment elements involved in various auditor reports.
• Students can apply advanced and appropriate audit procedures in the inspection of different company processes.
• Students can act as an advisor to companies in situations requiring financial expertise.
• Students can critically examine the impact of technological development on changes in the auditing field.

The course develops both the student's technical and communication skills to work in auditing tasks. The course enhances the student's teamwork skills, analytical thinking, IT skills, and written and oral expression.

Additional information: Note that a few sessions of face-to-face teaching may require live attendance via Zoom. The detailed method of completion will be published on Moodle at the beginning of the course. The course is recommended to be completed before the audit internship.
