The course includes versatile utilization of spreadsheet software: the most common functions, tables, filters, recording and modifying macros, keys, simple message windows, the basics of building a user interface and PowerBI.

After the course, the student is able to make versatile use of advanced spreadsheet features such as functions, filters, sorting, formatting, and pivot-tables. Students are able to record and modify macros and utilize these in automation.

Additionally, the course develops:

problem-solving and decision-making skills (through exercises and the project work)
analytical and critical thinking (through exercises and the project work)
digital skills (proficiency in spreadsheet software and VBA programming)
