Decisionmaking and Argumentation in Business Law

After completing the course, the student will be able to evaluate business decisions from the perspective of the appropriate legal status and justify the chosen decisions and recommendations for action based thereon. The student will be able to convince his or her audience of the correctness of the decision or recommendation for action. The student will be able to evaluate the position of the parties in conflict situations and present solution recommendations. The student will be able to critically evaluate court decisions.
Sustainable development issues are assessed using existing strategies. The student will be able to describe and justify how the context affects the implementation of sustainable development strategies. Responsible measures are described to take into account the challenges of sustainable development. The student will be able to define the consequences of different alternatives.
Ethical issues are identified and assessed. The student will be able to describe and justify how the context affects the solution of ethical problems. Ethical decisions are described to take ethical issues into account. The student will be able to define the consequences of different alternatives.
