Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure

Tämä on maisteritutkinnon syventävän tason opintojakso, joka edellyttää opintojaksojen HTK1300 Julkisen toiminnan oikeudelliset erityispiirteet ja HTK 2305 Hallinto-oikeus tietoja ennen kurssin aloittamista.

Participants will learn the basic knowledge of criminal and procedural law. They will understand the overall structure of criminal and procedural law and the key foundations of their characteristics. Additionally, participants will recognize the differences between various legal processes and be able to apply legal sources, concepts, and principles to legal cases.

The course deepens the mastery of the following common learning objectives of the major in Public Law: the ability to evaluate public activities from a legal perspective and the ability to solve legal interpretation issues encountered in working life and identify relevant legal sources. Additionally, the student will develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In terms of sustainable development, the goal is to learn to develop effective, responsible, and transparent institutions at all levels.
