Research in Financial Markets

Corporate Finance, Investments, Research in Financial Analysis, Financial Derivatives and Risk Management and Econometrics I.

The course provides an overview of recent relevant research issues in finance, extending and deepening students’ knowledge in the area of financial markets.

By the end of the course students will achieve the following intended learning outcomes:

• Students will demonstrate knowledge of recent issues and trends in research related to financial markets.
• Students will apply critical thinking and analytical skills in order to perform empirical research in finance.
• Students will demonstrate written, interpersonal and data analytics skills while working on the group and individual assignments during the course.
• Students will also demonstrate oral skills while preparing and making a presentation of a group assignment.
