Product and Service Design

This course will deepen students' understanding of product and service design in practice. The teaching will cover key issues related to product and service design, including principles of design, the generic product development process, agile product development methods, axiomatic design theory, service design methods and tools (such as service blueprinting, customer journey mapping, process-chain network, and multi-factor service design methods), product and service development contexts, and design work in teams. In addition, the concept of sustainability will be discussed in the context of product and service development.
