After the course the student is familiar with the basic concepts of mechanics and understands the laws of mechanics. The student is able to approach mechanics problems independently and apply what he / she has learned to formulate and solve problems. The student learns how to perform experimental research in a laboratory environment using computer-based measuring instruments and reports the results in written form. The student learns to evaluate the reliability of his / her measurement results and understands how to critically evaluate the results. The course develops critical thinking and analytical skills, written expression and collaborative skills.
