Data management and analytics are an increasingly essential part of the tasks of marketing professionals, and therefore knowledge of quantitative methods is important. This course introduces students to various quantitative methods useful for marketing economists, with particular emphasis on their interpretation and utilization in practical marketing work. The course aims to develop students' skills in (a) the basics, assumptions, and purposes of key quantitative methods; (b) performing statistical analyses using SPSS; (c) interpreting the results of analyses and assessing their reliability; (d) reporting the results in scientifically sound manner; and (e) applying the results to solve practical marketing problems.
