Exam and resit dates
The exam booking must be made separately in the EXAM system, and the exam is taken in the University of Vaasa EXAM room or as an exam visit in another higher education institution’s EXAM room.
Time and place
The course begins with an online lecture on 8 March 2027 from 18:00 to 20:00.
The compulsory contact teaching days are 18 March from 13:00 to 19:00 and 19 March from 8:15 to 12:45. For students studying in Kokkola, the sessions will be held at the Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius.
Module 1 (compulsory) and Module 2 (optional) are completed during the contact teaching period. The remaining modules can be completed according to the student’s own schedule.

Teaching methods
The course is built around modules. The first module is compulsory and common to all students, and it is completed during the contact teaching period. This module focuses on lectures and peer learning. The first module includes an exam.
Please note: The centralized exam is held on campus at a specified time and requires advance registration through the Peppi Student Desktop.
After completing the first and second modules, students choose topics from the advanced modules according to their needs, interests, and work situation. The modules can be completed independently, in pairs, or in small groups of up to three students.
The exam for the first module can be retaken as an EXAM exam. Depending on the module, assessment may also be completed through the EXAM system. EXAM reservations must be made separately in the EXAM system. The exam is taken either in the University of Vaasa EXAM room or as an exam visit in the EXAM facilities of another higher education institution.
Optional complete methods of the study option
The modules can be completed independently, in pairs, or in small groups of up to three students.
