International Growth through Sustainable Entrepreneurship

This is a Master’s level advanced course that requires applicable higher education studies in the field. Please also check prerequisites.

By the end of this course, students should be able to:

1. Identify, explain, and analyze different dimensions of sustainable business growth in the global context, considering ethical, social, and environmental factors (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production).
2. Recognize, evaluate, and reflect upon key decision-making aspects affecting international business growth, incorporating cognitive perspectives such as heuristics, biases, causation, and effectuation.
3. Develop and apply sustainable international business ideas by identifying and exploiting entrepreneurial opportunities to address global sustainability challenges (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, SDG 13: Climate Action).
4. Integrate sustainability principles, ethical considerations, and inclusivity into international business strategies, ensuring responsible and equitable entrepreneurship (SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production).
5. Demonstrate critical thinking, analytical writing, and teamwork skills through case studies, workshops, and interactive learning activities to enhance problem-solving and strategic decision-making capabilities
