Learning outcomes: Upon completing the course, students will be able to communicate in everyday life situations, in both spoken and written Finnish. Participants will be able to communicate about travel, sickness and health, leisure and hobbies, and will be able to actively use vocabulary related to these topics.

Literature and study materials as instructed by the teacher.

The language of instruction is Finnish; English may be used as an auxiliary teaching language.

The course has been renamed and is identical in content to the Finnish as a Foreign Language 2a course taught in previous academic years.
