The course explores EU institutions and decision-making as well as key concepts of European law. The course provides the ability to find and use European law in their own study or work assignments. The course helps to understand the importance of European law in domestic decision-making and administration. The contents to be learned focus on the field of public law.

Key content areas include:

  1. the main features of the EU legal system,
  2. key concepts and principles of EU law,
  3. the position of member states as part of the Union,
  4. European administrative law, and
  5. the main institutions of the European Union and their tasks.
