This Fintech specialization course is designed to introduce the fundamental building blocks of financial technologies and real-world applications to the degree students. Students will learn the essential components of technology-driven financial instruments, trading strategies, regulations, ethics, etc. in five different modules.
By the end of the course students will achieve the following intended learning outcomes:
Students will be able to develop in-depth knowledge on blockchain and various segments of FinTech.
Students will be able to analyze digital currency market principles, distinguishing features, and potential challenges.
Students will be able to identify and assess diverse applications of blockchain in the financial domain including corporate finance, assets and investments.
Students will be able to critically analyze FinTech projects for potential frauds and scams.
Students will be able to construct effective FinTech project proposals, integrating insights from comprehensive whitepapers.
Students will be able to apply advanced statistical software like R, for both qualitative and quantitative analysis in the context of blockchain-based digital financial market.
