Corporate Finance, Case Study

This is an advanced-level course in a master’s degree programme and requires knowledge from Bachelor-level accounting and finance courses. Preferably knowledge from the course Corporate Finance should have been acquired from Master level courses.

By the end of the course students will achieve the following intended learning outcomes:

• Students will demonstrate knowledge related to valuation, corporate transactions, process of mergers and acquisitions and investment process in private equity
• Students will demonstrate skills of company valuation based on analysis of company's strategy, positioning and external environment.
• Students will demonstrate written and data analysis skills through performing financial statement analysis and valuation of a company
• Students will demonstrate presentation and interpersonal skills while participating in the group project devoted to company valuation
