Content and dates
The course is divided into three different themes, each including its own assignment:
Theme 1: Designing a wine list for a restaurant
Analyzing wine lists from two different restaurants
Theme 2: Wine observation and tasting
Exam
Theme 3: Organizing a wine tasting
Planning a wine tasting presentation
Learner's time use and workload
1 ECTS credits equals 27 hours of work by the student.
Teaching methods
The studies are carried out on the Learn platform. The course is carried out entirely by way of unscheduled online study. The course can be individually completed, and it does not entail group work. The course includes three different themes, each with its own assignment. The assignments are assessed on a pass/fail and no personal feedback is provided. The course offers the opportunity to participate in an online remote tasting session. The remote tasting sessions will be held on 23 April 2027 and 19 November 2027 from 17:00 to 19:00. You may participate in the remote tasting sessions even if you have already completed the course.
