This course is designed to enhance your understanding of the managerial and leadership complexities that arise as a startup matures into an established enterprise. You will examine these issues at both the individual and organizational levels, utilizing cases studies (group work utilizing diverse materials, such as podcasts and videos), guest speaker presentations, and lectures. In addition, this course provides a platform for discussions on a variety of factors influencing entrepreneurial leadership and the evolution of new ventures. And of course, the pedagogical approach of this course also fosters the development of your entrepreneurial, teamwork, project management, and presentation skills.

After completing this course, you will gain the ability to understand and explain the transformation process of a startup into an established enterprise. The course will equip you with the skills to analyze why and how firms and their founders transform, and to understand the diverse factors that drive these progressions. Furthermore, this course will enhance your knowledge in understanding managerial and leadership challenges associated with the transformation process from a startup into an established enterprise.
