Statistical Methods in Social Work Research

Students will learn how to design a questionnaire and they practice making a data matrix using statistical software. The teacher introduces a dataset, and students practice (with statistical software) simple variable modifications, descriptive statistics as how to present frequency distributions, and inspecting dependency in bivariate analysis. Finally, students work in small groups on a statistical exercise using the course material.
