Special issues of Karelian language research

Upon completion of the course, the student can

• describe a special area of study of Karelian language,
• find research data regarding the special area

The course develops the following work life skills: expert knowledge on the Karelian language (can be utilised in research, language teaching, revitalisation, and language planning); reading scientific texts, independent searching of information and source criticism, writing coherent text based on read content

Generic competences: internationality, critical thinking, identification and development of expertise

Time:
Course is not held every year. The timing during the academic year varies.

Minor students of Karelian language, students of the Finnish language, open university students, students with the continued right to study, and students with the flexible right to study (JOO)
