After completing the course, student is familiar with the most common chemical analysis methods and is able to apply these in working life. Student is able to perform in a laboratory environment taking into account the safety regulations. The student is able to explain the theory from previous studies (Chemistry for Engineers 1-2) at a  practical level in the laboratory. 

Learning material is available in Moodle and in laboratory

Laboratory part of the course includes qualitative analysis performed during 3-4 days in few weeks time period (21 hrs in total). In addition 6 quantitative laboratory analyses (3 hrs/analysis). Finally 2 group works (3hrs/group work). The laboratory work is done in a qroup including Finnish BSc students.
