Global Ethics

Students explore ethical themes and approaches in international relations. Students discuss these themes and their local and global dimensions. Students analyze global ethical problems and understand why solving them is difficult. By engaging with varied materials, students practice their critical thinking and argumentation skills.

Lecture series ( 5 ECTS) is held in Finnish.

Electronic Exam (5 ECTS) covers two books from the list below. Both are examined at the same time.

The study unit may be completed by participating in the lecture series, through electronic examination, by writing an essay, or with the online course "Politics and the Anthropocene."
