European Energy Politics

The student develops an interdisciplinary understanding of energy policy problems and of their possible solutions including the production, distribution and consumption of energy on the national, European and global levels. They know the main concepts and actors of energy policy as well as the interests of actors. The student can differentiate between the technological, economic, institutional and ecological dimensions of the policy environment of energy policy. They can analyse both in writing and orally the main policy problems of transition to an energy system based on renewable sources of energy and can discuss this subject in a multifaceted manner.
