Renewing Management in Social and Health Care (OPEN UNI)

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• define the key factors in change management from a human-centered leadership perspective
• identify factors that promote and hinder renewal in the organization and in leadership
• identify the skills needed for future management and the need to develop them
• identify the challenges and prerequisites for sustainable management and renewal in the social and health care sector in a changing operating environment
• apply renewing leadership methods in social and health care management

Current international and national scientific articles and other relevant literature. Learning materials will be announced at the beginning of the course.

Suitable as a study module for a minor subject (25 ECTS credits) in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences, or as an individual course for elective studies.
