Information Seeking and Retrieval (OPEN UNI)

We live in an era where more information is available than ever before. Information retrieval skills help filter the relevant information from the irrelevant. Finding the right and up-to-date information is essential for both personal and professional decision-making. In this course, students will learn how to identify and use different digital information retrieval systems. You will become familiar with the analytical and systematic use of basic information retrieval techniques. The course will also prepare students to understand information service work.
