Project management (OPEN UNI)

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• is able to explain the key concepts of project management
• can describe the main elements of a project plan and is capable of utilizing various methods for project breakdown
• can schedule a project and estimate its costs
• recognizes the key tasks in project risk management
• has a good understanding of the core competencies in project management and the competency requirements for a project manager
• can apply the acquired knowledge to the planning and evaluation of different types of projects (construction, information technology, product development)

Opintojakso toteutetaan verkossa Moodlessa seuraavasti:
Luentojen aikataulut:

• Aloituspäivänä aukeaa kurssin oppimisympäristö ja ensimmäinen luentoviikko alkaa. Verkkopäivystys illalla kysymyksille: Kurssin käytänteet
• Verkkoluentokokonaisuudet (1-6) viikkoaikataulun mukaan loka-marras-joulukuun aikana
• Vapaaehtoinen Suomen Projektiyhdistyksen PMAF –sertifiointi joulukuussa (pyritään järjestämään mahdollisuus suoritukseen)
  Verkkotutoroinnit: 5 kpl marraskuussa, ajankohdat tarkentuvat myöhemmin (harjoitustehtävien opastus).
