Basics of Human-Centered Leadership in Social and Health Care (OPEN UNI)

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• define the basic concepts of leadership in social and health care
• describe the characteristics, objectives, and values of human-centered leadership and apply human-centered leadership methods in the practical management of social and health care
• recognize the psychology of leadership and the effects of positivity in social and health care management
• apply human-centered leadership methods in practical social and health care management
• apply self-leadership skills in everyday management work

Current international and national scientific articles and other relevant literature. Learning materials will be announced at the beginning of the course.  

Suitable as a study module for a minor subject (25 ECTS credits) in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences, or as an individual course for elective studies.
