Literacies in Different Information Environments (OPEN UNI)
Countering disinformation, the ability to critically evaluate information, and AI literacy, among other things, are important themes in our society. Information literacy, and its related skills, can be seen as civic skills whose role is emphasized in the modern age.

Information literacy, and related literacies, can be seen as civic skills that play an increasingly important role in our society. Combating disinformation and critical information literacy are essential, inter alia, for the functioning and renewal of democracy. In this course you will learn about the different concepts of literacy, their meaning, promotion, teaching and measurement in different contexts.
