This course is a modified version of popular Climate.now course given at several universities, adapted for self-study. It discusses on the scientific basis and predicted effects of climate change together climate change adapdation and mitigation.

Climate change is happening and affects us all. This course provides background information relevant for all citizens: Scientific basis of climate change, mitigation of climate, change, effects of climate change and adaptation.

Upon completion of the course, student can

look at climate change from many different perspectives and create connections between them as well as look for solutions to the climate challenge in a variety of ways
reflect her or his own role in climate change and apply what has been learned on the course
examine different perspectives, solutions, information sources, and the current debate on climate change critically
