Students are able to analyse and explain central grammatical structures and apply them in practice. They can conjugate verbs in different tenses, distinguish between separable and inseparable verbs and use them appropriately and form the passive voice in different tenses. They know the rules of congruence. They know the forms and use of case forms as well as the formation and use of adjective declension. They can form and use verbs in different modes, use junctions appropriately in compound sentences and know the different functions and use of pronouns.
