The course is implemented entirely as an online course. The course consists of three modules, which are completed in order. The modules are:

  1. Basics of biomolecules. This section covers the basics of the structures and functions of all groups of biomolecules.
  2. Biomolecules in-depth section. This section deepens the knowledge of the structures and functions of each group of biomolecules.
  3. A functioning cell. This section will introduce, how a functional cell is formed by the precise interaction of four major groups of biomolecules – proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and carbohydrates – and how these molecules interact structurally and functionally.
