The development of technological solutions helps mitigate climate change and promotes sustainable development. Process modelling is needed in the development of all industrial processes. In this course, you will learn how to formulate material and energy balances, the basis of process modelling.

The importance of material and energy balances. The formulation of material and energy balances for non-reacting systems. Process units concidered include mixers, separators and heat exchangers. Multiple unit systems are also considered.
