Knowledge Management in Social and Health Care (OPEN UNI)

Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:

• recognize the basic concepts related to knowledge management
• understand the significance of information and communication technology as a tool for knowledge management
• understand the principles of knowledge-based decision-making in social and health care
• recognize the importance of evidence-based practice and its principles in healthcare management
• apply the principles of knowledge management in the practical management of social and healthcare services e the basic concepts of leadership in social and health care

Current international and national scientific articles and other relevant literature. Learning materials will be announced at the beginning of the course. 

Suitable as a study module for a minor subject (25 ECTS credits) in the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences, or as an individual course for elective studies.
