Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to:
-understand the concepts of health, well-being and functional ability
-understand the life course perspective in human health and well-being
-identify the basis of public health
-explain the Finnish population and the most common national diseases
-name the main causes of differences in human health
-discuss the state of health and well-being and lifestyles of the Finnish population and the associated risk factors
