Online nursing skills

The student has completed a minimum of 120 op of their nursing studies.

The student is able to
• utilize different online tools in nursing (e.g. video calls, chat, mobile applications)
• evaluate and develop digital- and health literacy skills
• evaluate and develop client service- and interaction skills
• implement care needs assessment through phone, video calls and chat
• guide clients to different healthcare services
• evaluate and develop online counseling skills
• utilize patients’ personal health tracking data
• evaluate and develop documentation skills
• evaluate and develop ethical skills within online services
• evaluate the quality of care and suggest solutions for the development of health care services

Material for learning will be provided in the Moodle platform, which will be opened for the students’ access after enrollment and acceptance to the course.

Opintojakso kuuluu sairaanhoitotyön syventäviin opintoihin. Avoimen ammattikorkeakoulun tarjoamat sairaanhoitotyön syventävät opinnot on tarkoitettu sairaanhoitajatutkinnon jo suorittaneille henkilöille, jotka haluavat laajentaa tai päivittää osaamistaan. Voit toimittaa tiedon aiemmista opinnoistasi Oamk Boostin ilmoittautumislomakkeella (Valviran rekisteröintinumero tai tutkintotodistus tai opintosuoritusote, jos tutkinto-opintosi ovat vielä kesken).
