Some of the study unit assignments are completed using Moodle’s quiz tool and are numerically assessed and self-paced.
Opportunities for grade improvement and resits have, from the outset, been built into the permitted number of assignment attempts.
Time and place
You join the study unit by registering for the implementation, and once the responsible teacher has approved the registration, you will be automatically added to the Moodle workspace. Moodle will open on 20 August 2026.

The completion period for the study unit ends, and the submission deadline for the final assignment is 4 October 2026.

Content and dates
- Orientation (incl. Master’s-level information security and artificial intelligence)
- Fundamental concepts and underlying phenomena of digitalisation
- Digital services, processes and projects
- Regulation and responsibility
- Digital expertise and core competences
The student confirms their place in the study unit implementation by submitting the first learning assignment in accordance with the given timetable. If an enrolled student does not confirm their place, the teacher responsible for the study unit will remove the student from the implementation two weeks after the start of the studies.
Learner's time use and workload
A five-credit unit corresponds to 135 hours of student work.
Teaching methods
THIS IMPLEMENTATION IS FOR DEGREE STUDENTS
The implementation consists of independent study in the Moodle learning environment and three online meetings. The study unit comprises five different themes: their theoretical sections, external materials, and various tasks that support and assess learning.
