The course deepens thinking in instrumental pedagogy and provides perspectives on the core contents and practices of the instrumental teacher’s profession.
Content: assessment and giving feedback, teacher ergonomics and wellbeing at work, competence requirements and remuneration in the working life of a music pedagogue.

The student understands the significance of constructive and appropriate feedback and assessment in supporting the learning process. The student understands the significance of teacher ergonomics and practices that support overall wellbeing in teachers’ work. The student is familiar with the competence requirements of working life for music educators and their significance for teachers’ professional development. The student understands the basic aspects of remuneration for music educators and their connections to the structures of working life.
