Upon completion of the course the students are able to

understand the fundamental principles related to heat conduction, convection and radiation, and the physical laws behind the phenomena,
apply the general solutions for heat transfer and different calculation models when analyzing engineering heat transfer problems,
estimate thermally performance of most common heat exchanger types.
