After passing the course, the student has formed a general view of information processing grounded in computer science. The student has focused on the following topics: general and algorithmic problem-solving, and the concept of information, coding, and conversion. Related to the field, the student is familiar with the basic concepts and is capable of solving small topic-related problems. The student has a vision of the foundations of computer science, an appropriate basis for understanding and using knowledge within the field, and improved problem-solving skills.
