Participation in teaching
Working methods
Languages of instruction: German, English and Finnish.
Classes at the campus, independent study and learning assignments.
Oral exercises in pairs and teams, exercises on pronunciation, texts, listening, vocabulary and grammar.
In the course, the students will learn to tell about the family, everyday life and work, to talk about freetime, to make appointments, to communicate in restaurant situations and to tell about health issues at doctor's.
The students will learn to use the following grammatical structures: possessive pronouns, modal verbs, ordinal numbers, verbs with a prefix, haben and sein in simple past, prepositions with the dative case and the imperative.
STUDENT TIME USE
3 ECTS = approx. 80 hours of study
- classes approx. 28 hours
- independent study, learning assignments and exam approx. 50 hours
TIMING AND ATTENDANCE
Classes on Zoom in weeks 44 to 50. Classes twice a week.
Written exam in the electronic system in weeks 51 to 1/2027.
Oral exam in week 50.

Moodle and Zoom
For the online meetings, students will need a pc or a laptop, a web camera and a microphone.
The online meetings will not be recorded.
